“The Primitiva Bitters are a wonderful addition to my bar. Brought these on a recent vacation. It was added to, Hurricanes, Sparkling Wate...”
Tim T.Most modern bitters are polite — pleasant, subtle, and invisible in a big tiki drink until you've shaken in half an ounce. Primitiva was built with a promise on the label: three dashes will do. Gentian for true bitterness, both cassia and Ceylon cinnamon (the same two-cinnamon philosophy as our syrup), a shadow of molasses, and a blend of citrus oils that hits harder than juice ever could — all steeped in aged overproof rum. Fair warning: the cinnamon lands heavy here. This is a bitters for cinnamon freaks, and we made it that way on purpose.
It's an aromatic bitters made for drinks with real citrus and spice to referee: a Nui Nui, a Navy Grog, a Painkiller with punch. Off the island, three dashes rebuild a Margarita and add depth to a Daiquiri. The bottle wears our custom dasher top, engineered for aim — more bitters in the shaker, fewer on the bar top.
℞ – Take 2–3 dashes, as needed, in:
Before: a drink that's fine. After: a drink with a backstory.
