BG Reynolds Primitiva bitters are made with premium spices and natural extracts, blended with aged overproof rum. Gentian is used as the traditional bittering agent, balancing out any overly sweet components of the cocktail. We include a mixture of cassia and ceylon cinnamons, ensuring both the spicy intensity of the cassia as well as the earthy rich flavor of ceylon cinnamon. Molasses is used to intensify the flavor with its slightly bitter, almost salty flavor and adds a dark hue to the bitters. A custom blend of aromatic citrus oils rounds everything out with an intensity of flavor you can never get with juice alone.
