Sadly, we have had to retire some of our favorite products, like our dearly loved Severed Santa edition Hot Buttered Rum Syrup, from our regular rotation. BUT we are releasing them from time to time as part of our Limited Release program. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay tuned!
Severed Santa edition Hot Buttered Rum Syrup
“It mixed well with others.”
The testament of the retired
This syrup has been laid to rest — but nothing stays buried when enough voices call. Add yours, and if the chorus grows loud enough, we will fire up the kettles again.
3 voices raised
Your voice is recorded in the testament. If it returns, you drink first.
One voice is a whisper. Bring reinforcements — the louder the chorus, the sooner the kettles fire.
One vote per believer. We will only write when there is revival news.
Hot buttered rum is winter's oldest trick — a mug of hot water, a pour of dark rum, and a knob of spiced, sugared butter that turns the whole thing into something you'd cross a snowbank for. The trouble was always the batter: a stiff, silty lump you stirred and stirred and never quite dissolved. This is that batter set free — real dairy butter, brown sugar, molasses, and a full winter spice rack (ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice) rendered into a pourable syrup. A spoon and ten seconds, not ten minutes.
The Severed Santa edition wears its holiday horror on the label and takes the rum inside dead seriously. Warm it with dark rum and hot water for the classic, spike your coffee for a Buttered Rum Grog, or pour it over vanilla ice cream and call it dessert. It's real butter, so treat it like butter: keep it cold, and if it separates or firms up in the fridge, uncap it, ten seconds in the microwave, recap, and shake it back to life.
Made with real dairy butter — contains milk. Keep refrigerated after opening.
