Cocktail Recipe - Queens Park Swizzle

Here's how!

Queens Park Swizzle Recipe:

  • ¾ oz Rich Demerara syrup
  • 1 oz Lime juice
  • 2 oz Light rum
  • 1 demerara sugar cube
  • 10 mint leaves
  • Several dashes Angostura bitters (float)

Muddle mint and sugar together in a pilsner glass. Add all other ingredients except bitters. Add crushed ice and stir gently, trying to keep the mint towards the bottom. Swizzle the drink, top with more crushed ice and as many dashes of bitters it takes. Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.

Products Needed

Rich Demerara syrup

BG's tips

This drink is a joy to build. Don't tear into the mint too hard, you don't want to shred the leaves, just get them to stick their oil to the sugar.
