Donn Beach was the proprietor of Don the Beachcomber, the first tropical bar in the USA in which began the era of the Tiki Bar. His most famous drink was the Zombie. Donn Beach (Don the Beachcomber) was known to be extremely secretive with his ingredients, naming them with numbers (#2, #4, #7, Donn's Mix). Even his own bartenders didn't know what was in all the bottles that made up his famous recipes. Many of his competitors mixed their own recreations, or hired away his bartenders to try and get their own version of Donn's lucrative libations.

These syrups were recreated from authentic recipes found in the archives of Donn Beach's estate, and though historians have thought they'd figured out Donn's secrets, these are the first authentic recreations of Donn the Beachcomber's original ingredients, the keys to original recipe for Donn's famed and often imitated but never recreated Zombie.
