Gimlet Recipe:

• 1½ oz light rum
  
• 1½ oz Lime Cordial

Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Choose a rum here with a little more oomph, as the flavor of many light rums can get lost against the lime cordial. Martinique Rhum would be dandy, or try overproof Jamaican for a real delight.
